Office Ready Fall Winter Outfits

Thank goodness it's Friday!

How has your week been so far? Mine's been pretty crazy!
I've had random things popping up, all week. To make matters worse, I don't know why I've been feeling so tired recently. I wake up in the morning feeling like I haven't slept /:
I just recovered from having a cough a few days ago, and today, I can feel my throat becoming a little sore again. I really don't want to fall sick over the weekend! ):

I hope you liked the tutorial I did on the headdress. The additional pictures were taken after Halloween actually. We tried several different locations (more like backdrops) and finally settled with green + foliage. It seemed to work best with the headdress. By far, one of my favourite shoots. I look quite different in the pictures because of the combination of a new method in putting on makeup and flash. I usually shoot with natural light.

Anyway, I should stop rambling and go straight into today's post. Yes, today's itinerary is not about me or how I'm feeling sick but on Fall/Winter office clothing! (:

I've only really experienced winter once, last year, when my company posted me to Sydney, Australia for three months. Winter is mild in Sydney, but since I came right out of oven-like temperatures in Kuala Lumpur, let me tell you, Sydney felt pretty damn cold. I was feeling a little nostalgic today, day dreaming about dressing up for winter when I realised that there aren't many good usable fall/winter office wear lookbooks out there. So here's a few looks I found that would be perfect for Fall and less extreme Winter.

Knits, skirts, shearling collared trench coats and anything quilted are huge trends this season.
Colour is also HUGE for Fall/Winter this year. My projection is that colour is going to stay, for at least a few more seasons to come.

So yeap, no winter clothing for me, just daydreaming for the time being and I guess that pretty much sums up what's been happening in my life lately. The homebody in me just wants to spend the entire weekend in bed! ... but I might have some work to do ... at least I can work from my bed :P
