FMFA 2014

I mentioned in my last post, how the whole headgear business really sucked the life out of me the last couple of weeks.

Which was why when the (quite unfortunate) Future Music Festival Asia weekend ended quite abruptly, I decided to take a break and get back to more episodes of Game of Thrones! Yes, I am so addicted now that I feel like giving up blogging altogether to focus on watching TV series! Okay, I'm just kidding.

On a more serious note, it is most unfortunate that Day 3 of FMFA 2014 got cancelled. And I really feel sorry for the families of the victims, but like all the other kids out there, especially those who travelled from more distant places, it was really quite frustrating that the most anticipated day of the three got cancelled.

My honest opinion? It was a bit drastic that the whole event got cancelled, but I suppose the authorities had more information and did what had to be done.

I don't however, agree with the lot of the Malaysian public who were quick to label all FMFA party-goers as drug addicts. Not all of us take drugs, and most of us genuinely just wanted to have fun and enjoy our youth. Please keep your opinions to yourselves, thank you very much.

Anyway, what's happened has happened. I was really sad I didn't get to see Pharrell but let bygones be bygones. I'm glad I thoroughly enjoyed Day 1 and Day 2, making sure I went on most of the rides I didn't get to experience last year.

The moral of the story is?
  • Life is very short. So live it to the fullest?
  • Treasure the people you love.
  • And don't touch drugs. And maybe, time to party outside of Malaysia? :D
On a side note, the headgear is still open for all future parties, yay!

Here are some of my favourite party moments from FMFA this year (except for the last couple of photos, taken at Pisco Bar coz' we didn't have anywhere else to go ): ).
